Best Places to Eat and Drink in Bentonville Arkansas

Bentonville sits in the corner of Northwest Arkansas, just past the Ozarks. While it’s most known for being the headquarters of Walmart and its extensive mountain biking trails, it also has a lively downtown with diverse restaurants and bars. We always love experiencing a new place through food and drinks, as it lets us get a feel of the city and what it would feel like to live there. Here are some of our top spots:

Food

A beautiful environment at the Pressroom

  • Wrights BBQ - we grabbed lunch here and were surprised at how much flavor the meat had. Our favorite sides were the green beans and mac & cheese. This is a must when visiting Bentonville!

  • Pressroom - we loved the atmosphere here. It felt spacious and welcoming! Our favorite part of the meal were the fries.

  • Bentonville Tacos and Tamale Co - we sat at the bar and loved the tequila and mezcal options. Even better were the street tacos!

  • Pedaler’s Pub - this place was packed mid afternoon so we knew we were in for some good food. Cody ordered wings and Kate ordered a pizza. They both were crispy and delicious!

  • Tusk & Trotter - this was a little off from the main downtown area. We ordered burgers but there were a ton of interesting options on the menu. We didn’t try the pork rinds but heard a ton of hype about them!

  • Oven & Tap - we were craving a good pizza spot. This place was great and we were surprised at how good the dairy-free pizza was here!

  • Thai Kitchen - we saw high reviews of this place and it was one of the best Thai restaurants we’ve ate at! We were given solid portions and the coconut curry was hands down the best we’ve had.

Drinks

Breweries / Bars

  • Bentonville Brewery - this was our first stop in Bentonville and we loved the environment. Kate also was happy to see they had not one, but two Belgian Tripels on tap.

  • Ozark Beer Co - the downstairs was packed when we arrived so we went up to the top level. We ended up having the whole floor to ourselves. Kate loved the Belgian Dubbel and Cody enjoyed the Onyx Coffee Stout.

  • Scotch and Soda - we ended up stopping here twice. We loved the environment and the cocktail options. The best part… they have an espresso martini on tap!

  • Undercroft - this was such a unique stop! This bar is underneath the Preacher’s Son restaurant (which we didn’t get a chance to try). Undercroft had such fun drinks and a lively atmosphere.

  • Lady Slipper - we didn’t spend long here but loved our drinks! Cody got an old fashioned and Kate got a mezcal lime cocktail. The bar area was cozy and welcoming so we’d definitely go back!

  • Bar Cleeta - we also only had a quick drink here before dinner but loved the wine options!

Coffee

  • Onyx Coffee Lab - Cody had been wanting to visit Onyx Coffee for a while before visiting and it was even better than we expected! We visited the smaller downtown Bentonville location and the larger Rogers HQ location. The decor, coffee aroma, and natural light all made it a 10/10 experience.

  • Airship Coffee - We didn’t know about the coffee shop prior to visiting but loved the two locations we visited; Coler and the Pumphouse. The coffee was tasty and they had THE BEST dark chocolate coffee brownie.

We hit a lot of the main spots but can’t wait to go back and explore more of the area. With the tasty restaurants, delicious coffee, and lively breweries, we feel like we could easily spend a lot of time there.

We hope this helps you plan where to get some bites and drinks if you ever make a trip out to Bentonville, Arkansas!
