Camping
-
Roofnest Rooftop Tent
We’ve loved how easy it has been to pop up and that it allows us to camp wherever we can find parking.
We have the Sparrow model. There is the XL option if you’re looking for a little extra space.
-
Dometic Powered Cooler
Ice no more! One of favorite purchases is our powered cooler. It has allowed us to stay off grid longer and not stress about finding ice.
We have the CFX345, which is 46 liters and can fit 67 cans.
-
Jackery Portable Power Station
Our other top purchase is our Jackery portable battery. This has allowed us to power our cooler, electronics, and anything else we may need to charge! Even better, it all comes from the sun.
We have the Jackery Explorer 1000.
-
Jackery Solar Panel
This is how we power our Jackery battery. It takes around 7 hours for a full charge from the sun. Usually we don’t let it get down to 0%, so it’s quick and easy to charge back up.
We have the Jackery SolarSaga 100W solar panel.
-
Leveling Blocks
Upgraded from using rocks to blocks! These leveling blocks are a lifesaver when we find ourselves on uneven ground.
We have a 10 pack of blocks.
-
Outdoor Shower, Rechargeable
Our portable shower has allowed us to easily stay clean while on the road. Turn it on, drop it into the water, and it’s ready to go!
-
Dr. Bronners Biodegradable Liquid Soap
We use Dr. Bronners to shower at campsite showers, do dishes, and wash our hands while outdoors. It’s organic and biodegradable, making it safe while in nature.
-
Portable Kitchen
This is an easy way to have a little more kitchen space while outdoors. We use it to prep food, set our stove on, and store our utensils.
-
Stove
With two burners, we’re able to easily make our breakfast and coffee at the same time. It’s also easy to setup and pack away.
-
Collapsible Sink
These are perfect for washing dishes and keeping the water contained. They also collapse when you’re not using them, making them easy to pack away.
-
5-Gallon Water Jugs
Our water jug makes the perfect hand or dish-washing station. We have 2 jugs so that we can carry additional water and not have to fill up as much.
-
Portable Coffee Press
We love our AeroPress because it’s so easy to use and travel with! It packs down into a small cup.
-
Yeti Mugs
Our Yeti mugs have had many purposes, from holding coffee, beer, to wine. They keep our morning coffee warm and evening beer chilled.
-
Tent Fan, Rechargeable
This fan was a lifesaver during our 80 degree night in Sedona, AZ. It ran all night and has a hook so it can hang from anywhere.
-
Camping Lantern, Rechargeable
We love the multiple settings this lantern has: bright white, dim white, red, and flashing white. The red setting is perfect for when you’re getting ready for bed. Even better, the bugs aren’t as attracted to it!
Backpacking
-
Men's Backpack
This is the Osprey Atmos AG 65L. We love the flexibility with these packs and how many pockets there are to organize everything into.
-
Women's Backpack
This is the Osprey Aura AG 65L. We love the flexibility with these packs and how many pockets there are to organize everything into.
-
Backpack Rain Cover
We use the Osprey UltraLight Pack Rain Cover - Large because it matches the brand of our packs and it packs down small.
-
Tent
We bought the Nemo Osmos Dagger 2 Person Tent because of the ease of setting it up. It’s also the perfect weight and size for both of us.
-
Men's & Women's Sleeping Bag
We love the Nemo Disco 15 bags! They are warm, cozy, and compact. We decided against mummy bags due to both of us being side sleepers.
-
Sleeping Pad
The Nemo Switchback Sleeping Pad is comfortable and easy to pack. We love how they hang on the outside of our backpack.
-
Inflatable Pillow
We wanted something lightweight, small, and easy to blow up. We went with the Sea to Summit Inflatable Pillow.
-
Stove
We researched a ton of stoves and decided to go with the MSR PocketRocket Deluxe Stove because of how small, lightweight, and versatile it is.
-
Pot and Pan
For boiling water, we use Toaks Titanium 1100ml Pot with Pan. The pan doubles as the lid for the pot. It packs away efficiently and we like how the stove can fit inside of the pot/pan.
-
Water Filter
To filter our water, we use the Sawyer Squeeze Water Filtration System. We love using this because all you have to do is fill the squeeze bag and then screw on the filter to fill up the water bottle.
-
Silverware
Our only silverware are two of Sea to Summit Alpha Light Spork. Cody originally thought the spork would have issues with soups, but we quickly noticed that wasn’t the case. The long handles keep your hands from getting messy when digging the last bits of your meal from the bottom of a bag. It feels good only having one dish to clean!
-
Mug
We bought the Snow Peak Titanium Single Wall 450 Mug to drink coffee. We like how these can strap to the outside of our backpacks.
-
Dry Sack
We wanted extra protection for our clothes and electronics so decided to get the Osprey Ultralight Dry Sack 20L. It’s the perfect size for four days and easy to pack/unpack.
-
Bear Canister
We like the ease of use of the BearVault BV500. We like not having to worry about hanging our food. The larger canister is a great size for our food, snacks, and coffee for four days in addition to being the perfect camp seat.
-
Hiking Poles
We use Black Diamond Trail Ergo Cork Trekking Poles and they are a game changer. They make climbing more efficient and help save the quads when descending.
Working Remote
-
Laptop Stand
We love this laptop stand because of how small it packs down. It fits into a small bag, yet still allows us to adjust the height.
-
Second Side Monitor
We both usually have two large screens while at home, so having an extra monitor while on the road is a treat.
-
Noise Cancelling Headset
Coworking spaces can be noisy if we choose to sit in the open seating. Having noise canceling headphones helps our calls go smoothly.
-
Bluetooth Keyboard
We decided on this keyboard because of the portability and the fact that it’s bluetooth. It is a great typing experience for being so compact.
-
Wireless Mouse
Once you lay your hand on this, you’ll never want to touch another mouse again. Highlights of this mouse include: the ultimate scroll wheel, premium ergonomics, and the ability to connect to multiple devices.
